3 Refund Policy

All services provided by bright story draft are digital in nature and delivered according to the scope defined in the project agreement. Upon successful delivery and acceptance of work, services are considered complete.

3.2 Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Non-Delivery: If agreed-upon deliverables are not provided within the specified timeframe without valid justification.
  • Material Defects: If the delivered work significantly deviates from the agreed specifications and cannot be remedied through reasonable revisions.
  • Cancellation Before Work Begins: Full refund minus administrative fees (10% of total) if cancelled before any work has commenced.

3.3 Revision Policy

All projects include a minimum of two (2) rounds of revisions at no additional cost. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges as outlined in the project agreement.

3.4 Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 14 days of delivery. We will review your request within 5 business days and respond with a resolution. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

3.5 Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Work that has been approved and accepted by the client
  • Services that have been fully delivered according to specifications
  • Administrative and setup fees
  • Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client

4 Terms of Service

4.1 Agreement to Terms

By engaging the services of bright story draft, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and bright story draft (the "Service Provider").

4.2 Scope of Services

Services are defined in individual project proposals or statements of work. Any modifications to the agreed scope must be documented in writing and may result in adjusted timelines and pricing.

4.3 Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • A 50% deposit is required before work commences on projects exceeding €1,000.
  • Late payments may incur interest at 5% per annum above the European Central Bank base rate.
  • All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT where required.

4.4 Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the Client receives full ownership and rights to all deliverables produced under the agreement. bright story draft retains the right to display work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.5 Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all business information, strategies, and materials shared during the course of the engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the agreement.

4.6 Limitation of Liability

bright story draft's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

4.7 Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination, the Client shall pay for all work completed up to the date of termination. Pre-paid fees for uncompleted work will be refunded.

4.8 Governing Law

These terms are governed by German law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hildesheim, Germany.

4.9 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

4.10 Amendments

bright story draft reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
